We found lil' Sassy
Lil' Sassy was stolen on May 1st at 11:30pm from a porch on Rampart in the Marigny.
Someone on reddit saw it at a gas station at Claiborne and Franklin at 4:30am May 2nd. Someone saw it near there the next day.
On Wednesday, a friend saw it on Port street and followed it until I could show up. Someone knew the guy and talked to him and he was amenable to returning it. He had traded his bike and some money for it but didn't want it if it was stolen.
He said he'd give it back. I gave him the money he was out and then some. He seemed like a nice enough guy who was down on his luck.
Based on the description of who he bought it from and the video of the theft, he must have bought it directly from the thief.
